This fifth transnational meeting of the GreenMove consortium moved beyond conventional transport planning to anchor sustainable mobility firmly within a holistic approach to societal progress. Integrating the principles of citizen engagement, participatory governance, non‑discrimination, and shared European values, the event focused on how transportation infrastructure can foster social inclusion, combat stereotypes, and reduce inequalities. Despite severe travel disruptions that prevented nine of the 16 participating countries from attending in person, the consortium delivered a pioneering hybrid meeting that ensured 100% participation. Through interactive workshops, a multi‑stakeholder roundtable, cultural visits to Paphos – the 2023 European Capital of Smart Tourism – and dedicated sessions on EU‑funded projects, the meeting co‑created the fifth chapter of the Interactive Sustainable Living Guidebook (GISLG), highlighting the importance of EU‑level alliances and a truly participatory, value‑driven approach to urban mobility planning
The event featured workshops, cultural site visits, and stakeholder discussions fostering long-term partnerships for eco-friendly, inclusive rural transformation.
